Understanding & Managing ADHD

Although usually considered a disorder of childhood, ADHD is sometimes not diagnosed until the adult years. Those with high cognitive ability often keep their symptoms of ADHD under control until faced with work so demanding they reach the limits of their ability to compensate.

This workshop will explore the treatment of ADHD in adults and the ways that assessment can provide diagnostic clarification and help to determine appropriate therapeutic, medical, lifestyle and educational interventions.
