Caltech-Occidental Symphony and Caltech Chamber Singers

Featured will be the Dona Nobis Pacem by English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams, a stirring composition commemorating the First World War, performed by the Caltech Glee Club and Caltech-Occidental Symphony conducted by Nancy Sulahian. Soloists will be Tamara Bevard, soprano, and Kevin Dalby, baritone.
The program will also include the Caltech-Occidental Symphony performing Haydn's Symphony No. 88 in G Major, conducted by Allen Robert Gross. The Caltech Chamber Singers will sing Di Lasso's Madrigals and Chansons, and Brahms's Vier Zigeunerlieder, Op. 112, and the Caltech Glee Club will perform Stanford's Justorum animae, Lauridsen's Sure on This Shining Night, and Kirchner's Unclouded Day.
Admission to the concert is free, with no tickets or reservations required.
The same concert will be presented on Saturday, May 9th at 8:00 p.m.
