Can solar power help save the Earth from the ravages of global warming? In the face of steeply rising oil prices, there is new urgency and enthusiasm for finding ways to make solar power more efficient and affordable. A NOVA production.
This stunning high-definition movie will serve as the springboard for a lively discussion about the science behind the beauty and wonder of nature.
Michael Walter, a Graduate Student in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Caltech, will introduce the film and guide the post-screening discussion.
Recommended for ages 8 and up.
