In an effort to prepare for the next big one, experts reconstruct the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. Follow it from its birth at the seafloor to its collision with coasts around the Indian Ocean. A NOVA production.
This stunning high-definition movie will serve as the springboard for a lively discussion about the science behind the beauty and wonder of nature.
Nina Lin, a graduate student in geology and planetary sciences at Caltech, will introduce the film and guide the post-screening discussion.
