Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week Event: "Overcoming 'NIMBY' and Other Systems of Injustice"

Andy Bales, the leader of Union Rescue Mission, will discuss the challenges of NIMBY ("Not In My Backyard"), a situation where service providers are confronted by a community that supports the provision of services to the homeless, but doesn t want those resources to be near their homes or businesses.
