Mapping brain dynamics across scales
Adam Cohen,
Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology and of Physics,
Harvard University,
Part of the challenge and charm of studying brain dynamics is that activity arises over a huge range of scales in space and time. I will describe a suite of molecular and optical tools for mapping brain dynamics, from microsecond-timescale electrical signals during dendritic integration to brain-wide changes in gene expression that can occur over weeks or months. http://cohenweb.rc.fas.harvard.edu/
