Shifted convolution problem for Siegel modular form
Wing Hong Leung, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Rutgers University,

We will discuss the joint work with Matthew Young that we get power savings for the shifted convolution sum problem regarding Fourier coefficients of Siegel modular forms. The key ingredient is an observation that the Duke-Friedlander-Iwaniec delta method can be reinterpreted in an automorphic setting. These two methods agree in the GL(2) setting, but the structure differs in other settings. This provides a pathway for situations where the delta method is not directly applicable or has limited effectiveness.
