Rosalie has been threatening to retire for some time, but there's a new CD in the works, and we were able to convince her to make one more trip out to California (from her home in Idaho) for a show at Caltech. This could well be your last opportunity to see this stellar singer, songwriter, and raconteur perform before an audience.

Like her good friend, the late Utah Phillips, Rosalie is a larger-than-life personality who connects to a tradition of free-thinking folks, and she shows us that there is a much richer side to the culture of this country than the popular culture that we are constantly exposed to. With stories about her mother and father, her grandparents, Utah Phillips, and many other people in her experience, she embodies a passion for life that is inspiring and delightful. She accompanies herself on guitar and is an extraordinary singer in a most intimate way. She is also a unique and wonderful songwriter, with songs like "Bells of Ireland," "Traveling Lady," and "Hitchhiker in the Rain," as just a few examples of her fine skills.
