Although they have played together in various configurations for years, Michael Tree (cofounder of the Guarneri Quartet), Anthony McGill, and Anna Polonskyfounded the Trio just last year. Of their second public performance the Broad Street Review wrote: "Lengthy applause and shouts at the concert's conclusion testified to the pleasure the trio's music delivered."
