Friends of the Caltech Libraries and Pasadena Public Library's One City, One Story present a conversation on The Slowing:  Earth's Atmospheric Circulation and The Age of Miracles, Friday, March 15 at 3:00 p.m. in Baxter Lecture Hall.

One City, One Story 2013:

The Age of Miracles' author Karen Thompson Walker will join Caltech Assistant Professor of Environmental Science and Engineering, Simona Bordoni, and Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Director of the Caltech Counseling Center, Lee Coleman, in a discussion relating to themes in The Age of Miracles including atmospheric circulation patterns, the slowing of Earth's rotation, and the psychological effects of catastrophic change on various characters and age groups in the novel.
